These terms are an agreement between you and Meter Fusion LLC ("we"), the maker of Oath Below. Contact: support@oathbelow.com. By installing or playing the game, you agree to them.
The short version. Play, stream and share as much as you like. Don't cheat, resell the game or rip its files. Anything you buy is cosmetic, comes through Google Play or the App Store, and has no cash value. Your consumer rights where you live always apply.
1. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Oath Below, including its updates, on devices you own or control, for non-commercial use. We keep all other rights in the game.
2. Accounts
- The solo game needs no account. Online modes (Oathbreak, online co-op and the ladders) need one, created through the game's sign-in.
- Keep one account per person and keep access to it secure. You're responsible for what happens on it.
- Display names must not impersonate others or be offensive. We may change a name that breaks this rule.
- You can delete your account at any time in the game (Settings > Account > Delete account) or on the Delete account page.
3. Oathstones and purchases
- Oath Below is free to play. You can buy Oathstones, an in-game currency, and items such as looks, titles, frames and the Oath Ledger. Everything for sale is cosmetic and never affects gameplay, and nothing for sale is random.
- Oathstones and purchased items are a licence to use them in the game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or transferred to another account, and can't be sold outside the game.
- Gems are earned in play and are never sold.
- Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store under their terms. Refunds follow their refund policies and the law where you live.
- We may change prices or which items are offered. Items you already own stay yours, except where we remove them because of fraud, a reversed payment or a broken rule.
4. Seasons and ladders
Ladders run in seasons. Rankings and ladder heroes may reset when a season ends, as described in the game and on the ladders page. We may remove results that break these terms.
5. AI players
Online matches may include AI-controlled Oathbound so you never wait long. They never appear on the ladders.
6. Fair play
You may not:
- cheat, use exploits, bots or modified clients in online play, or interfere with our servers or other players' connections;
- resell, rent or redistribute the game or its files;
- extract or reuse its art, audio, models or code, much of which is licensed from third parties for use only inside the game;
- reverse-engineer the game, except where the law allows it.
If you break these rules, we may remove results or items gained by doing so, or suspend or close the account.
7. Streaming and videos
You may stream, record and monetize videos of your gameplay, including clips and share images made with the game's own tools. You don't need to ask. Please don't present them as official content.
8. Third-party components
The game includes third-party software and assets under their own licences, listed in the game under Settings > Credits & Notices. Those licences apply to those components.
9. Online services
Online features use third-party services such as Unity, Photon and Edgegap. We may change, pause or end online features. The solo game keeps working offline.
10. Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Ending these terms
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. Your licence ends if you break these terms; when it ends, uninstall the game.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so in the game or on this page before it applies, and the date above will change.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Meter Fusion LLC is organized, in the United States, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
